Barcelona Yoga Day

On Saturday, June 21, a new edition of Barcelona Yoga Day will be held at the Parc de la Barceloneta, a meeting in which various yoga and meditation schools meet to spread and share the benefits that the practice of yoga brings. Representatives of these institutions will offer free classes, conferences, and performances, from nine in the morning until after seven in the evening. Acro yoga, yoga for children, and vegetarian cuisine, are some of the activities that the Barcelona Yoga Day program has that you can consult here. In December 2011, teachers from different lineages signed in Bangalore, India, the proclamation of June 21 - summer solstice - as World Yoga Day. In 2012 a group of yoga schools in Barcelona joined this initiative by organizing the first Yoga Day in the city. There are only ten days left to enjoy this festive day and the promotion of self-knowledge and the culture of non-violence.
