May 31, 2012

First I suggest you watch this video and see how easy it is to make homemade tofu.

And if you dare to do more, here are two delicious recipes with tofu! Tofu and olive skewers Tofu, onion, carrot, shoyu, black olives, sea salt, oregano, water. Cut the tofu into large cubes, the onion into four cuts, and the carrot into three lengthwise pieces and two crosswise cuts. Put on the skewer an onion leaf, a piece of carrot, a piece of tofu, an onion leaf, a black olive, a block of tofu and a piece of carrot. Make as many skewers as you like, and then place the shoyu, salt water, and a handful of oregano on a tray. Submerge the skewers and put them directly on the griddle or in the oven until the desired doneness is achieved. Smoked tofu roll with nori Natursoy wood-fired smoked tofu, a strip of nori seaweed, carrot, salt, shoyu, water. Cut the carrot into thin cross-sections and blanch for one minute in boiling salted water. Lightly toast the strip of nori seaweed on both sides and place it on the bamboo sushi mat. Cut the smoked tofu strips so you can line them up inside the nori strip. Place a first layer of blanched carrots lined up, another of tofu and another of carrots. Roll it all up with the nori seaweed as if it were a cigarette using the bamboo mat so that the seaweed does not break. At the end, to seal it, dip your fingers in water and dip the tip of the nori seaweed, as you would with a cigarette paper. The roll can be cut into small pieces, dipping the special Japanese knife for vegetables to prevent them from breaking. And long live tofu! Irune
